Ardley Rescue Kennels became a registered charity in 2003. Since the rescue started, we have run a 24/7 service for dogs in need of help, from unwanted and abandoned to lost and found.
We’ve found forever homes for more than 2000 dogs.. but we don’t plan to stop there!
We assess each dog individually, in order to ensure the best possible home is found. This can include seeing how each dog reacts with other animals and children, even finding out if the dog prefers a lead or harness. All our dogs come first, so we take our re-homing very seriously.
All of the dogs at Ardley receive high standard veterinary care which includes worming and flea treatments, bathing and microchipping. We also ensure each dog is spayed and neutered before being re-homed. This can cost up to £325 per bitch and £250 per male.
We aren’t about making profit here, we just want to make sure each dog is looked after properly and to do this we rely solely on the donations from kind people like you. Ardley also accepts donations of blankets, bowls, toys and much more. If you would like to make a donation, please click here.
We would love to say a huge thank you to all of the loving and dedicated volunteers who help out at the kennels each day. Without these guys, we wouldn’t be able to give the high level of care we do to each of our dogs. From dog walkers to our maintenance man and fundraisers to foster carers, each and every person makes a huge difference to the dog’s lives and here at Ardley Rescue Kennels, we could not thank you enough.
Thank you for visiting our website,
From Annabelle & The Ardley Rescue Kennels team!
PLEASE NOTE: A polite request to all of our supporters, if you come by the kennels for any reason and find our gate is closed then that means we are closed. Do not open the gate and come through as we may have dogs out in the yard exercising and training and this could startle the dogs, some of whom may have behavioural issues.
We advise that everybody call before hand and arrange an appointment if you wish I view a dog or visit between the hours of 10am-3pm to leave donations.
We accept donations of clean duvets, duvet covers, blankets and towels only. Due to the nature of the kennels and the dogs we look after, we politely request that no pillows, cushions or bed sheets are to be donated. If you wish to donate other items but are unsure if they are accepted, do not hesitate to give us a call on 01869 346307 for information.
